The twenty-first century has placed humanity at the

screens, algorithms, and networks have transformed not only

and construct meaning. Yet, amid this technological acceleration,
one question becomes ever more pressing: how can education
remain deeply human while embracing the digital?
This book, Digital Education and Literacy Integration:
Building Competence and Transformation, was born from both
curiosity and concern. Curiosity about how digital technologies
can enrich learning and teaching—and concern about how they
might deepen inequalities, reduce critical thought, or displace
the human touch in education. The writing of this book was thus
an intellectual journey: a search for balance between the
promise of innovation and the ethics of humanity in the digital
age.
